"This happened around 10 years ago so correct me my fellow batch mates who witnessed this if I get any details wrong.

When we were in Grade 9 Commerce back in 2003/04, there were these routine bag checks by prefects. We were in the upstairs classroom next to the girls' washroom (not opposite it but adjacent to it). The classroom had a window and the roof outside was the ceiling for our main hall or whatever we used to call it. Get the right classroom in your head guys or what follows will not make sense (:

Sethuraman was one of the prefects and for some reason he decided there was something fishy outside the window over on the roof. Believe it or not this dedicated fella decided to try getting out of the classroom via the window and having a look. And the rest of us forgot about him for a bit. What followed was a scene for the ages. I guess a few phones/cd's (ya this was back when cds were the shit) etc. were confiscated and everyone's focus was inside the room. And then we heard a little noise. Lo and behold Sethuraman had disappeared and in the roof was a bloody hole. The poor bloke had fallen in to the freaking hall! A few of his friends and some teachers rushed down and it turned out that he wasn't hurt too bad (from what I recall). It was a shock back then but now when I think of it holy crap what was he thinking ?!!? Mighty nice guy but can we be blamed for laughing our asses out thinking about it now :o) Thank you for the epic moment Sethu and I hope you have a good laugh about it if you are reading this!
