"The Lawrence vs Fowzi incident (2009) [I'm pretty jobless to post this up]
Lawrence the universally detested English teacher was also hated by a battalion of other teachers.
For some reason Lawrence considered Fowzie as competition and a threat to her position of OL English teacher so they hated each other the most.
Once Fowzie (who replaced Vincent as Eng. Lit. teacher) was reading out “Things fall apart” to us (Grade 10) in that class next to the ladies staff room.
The thing about this class is that you get a full view of this entire class from outside, but you cannot see the teachers table and whether or not a teacher was inside the class.
Fowzie: (reading Things fall apart) “Okonkwo did not have the start in life which many young men usually had. He did not inherit a barn from his father. There was no barn to inherit. The story was told in Umuofia, …”
Lawrence: <does not notice Fowzi is in the Class or maybe intentionally pretending to infuriate him – speaks directly to Prasad who is inside the class listening attentively to Fowzie saying :> “Prasad did you give me your English book today?”
Fowzie: <takes time to realise this and gets super pissed off> “…of how his father, Unoka, had gone to consult the–– OOI! What the hell are you doing?”
Lawrence: “What I was speaking to Prasad!”
Fowzie: “Who have no right to speak to a student while I am teaching this class!” <gets up moves towards her with clenched fists>
Lawrance: <quickly backs away>” Oh! I didn’t see you and you have no right to shout at me like this.” <goes away>
Fowzie: <tells the class> “that woman has got some mental problem, I need to inform the warden about it!”
<whole class laughs and tells him they agree with that statement>
